lifermedia:

On May 4th and 5th, Lifer Media attended the 2012 TromaDance Film Festival. According to Troma:

TromaDance is the first film festival wholeheartedly devoted to filmmakers and fans. Unlike every other film festival, TromaDance does not charge filmmakers to submit their films. Entrance to all screenings is free and open to the public. Also, there are no VIP reservations or preferential treatment regarding films, panels, or parties of any kind given. The organizers of TromaDance believe films are meant to be seen, especially when it comes to new filmmakers. Art - in all its forms - is for the people!

The movies are gory, vulgar, and totally indie. We loved it!

Lucky for all of you Mike was there to pull out his iPhone and hit record when Troma’s owner, LLyod Kaufman, hosted the Saturday evening panel. The panel was made of James Gunn (Super, Dawn Of The Dead, Scooby Doo, Slither), Ti West (House Of The Dead, The InnKeepers, Cabin Fever 2), Roy Frumkes (Street Trash, The Substitute), Tony Timpone (Fangoria), and Katha Cota (Queens World Film Festival).  They gave their expert advice on how to make it in the film world, and we suggest you listen to their rags to riches stories. Enjoy!

TFW 2012: FATHER'S DAY

frodesignco:

The great people at the new cult decor powerhouse Skuzzles along with Troma Films commissioned me to make a poster for Troma’s cult classic “Mother’s Day” (link goes to the trailer)
This is the fourth in a series of official Troma prints to be released by Skuzzles. Previously Rhys Cooper made these incredible pieces for Toxic Avenger and Surf Nazis Must Die, and before that poster artist Godmachine did a great job with his interpretation of Class of Nuke Em High.
This is a six color screen print, printed at the world famous D&L screen printing in Seattle. These prints look amazing. They are printed on beautiful black licorice paper. Skuzzles will have these up for sale at a random time this Friday exclusively on their site. There are only a few to go around, strict limited edition of 75. Be sure to follow skuzzles on twitter so you don’t miss out.
